And now an update on the career/school/rest of my life situation...
I was accepted into the PhD program in Culture, Literacy and Language at The University of Texas San Antonio. I've decided to accept and will begin in the Fall. Nervous, but excited! I will hopefully be researching (nothing is set in stone, obviously, as my dissertation is a long way away) the ways in which social media and globalization traverse traditional cultural boundaries and aid in the proliferation of foreign language development through music. After much prayer and contemplation, I'm apprehensive, but I know this is the right move for me. More prayers are needed, I'm sure. But so far, 2010 has been great! I can only hope that the remaining months prove as fruitful.
