I miss Austin. I was able to visit last weekend (for Valentine's Day and President's Day), and had a blast. Chryssa flew down from Idaho as well, so that made it even more enjoyable. I flew into/out of San Antonio, and my mom and I enjoyed an early dinner on the Riverwalk that Thursday evening. The weather was perfect!
Friday we went to The Oasis for a leisurely lunch and margaritas. I'd forgotten how pretty Austin is. Here is a sunset pic from The Oasis (found on the Web, we actually didn't stay long enough for a sunset). How beautiful!
The rest of the weekend was spent looking at condos/houses with my mom, and relaxing. I was able to go to Houston on Sunday and attend Hunter's 1st Birthday party. I had a lot of fun! And it was really good to see all (well, most) of my old friends. I'll have pictures up on Shutterfly and Facebook soon.
I wish it were warmer in New York already. The novelty of winter (as I first experienced it when I moved here) has definitely worn off. It makes me so lazy when it's cold outside. Well, I need to clean a bit before I head to JFK to visit with Kelly, Sean and her Russian friend. Ciao!
